Madmaheshwar Temple

Madmaheshwar temple is Dwitiya (second) Kedar in the arrangement of Panch Kedar at the base of Chaukhamba crest and the Nabhi (navel) of Nandi (bull's gut) venerated here. Sanctuary is arranged at the stature of 3490 mtr. above ocean level in region Rudraprayag of Uttarakhand.

Trek is almost 15 km long from town Ransi. Adjacent town is Ukhimath. Ukhimath is close to 220 km from state's capital Dehradun. Best time to visit is May to October since altar opens just for under a half year. Amid winter Palki of god moved to Omkareshwar Mandir, Ukhimath. Pony, palki are just accessible at crest season. Trek is brimming with wilderness, green fields, slopes and euphoric perspective of the mountain. Clearly pleasant.
