Gangotri Gomukh

Gangotri is a renowned Hindu journey goal in locale Uttarkashi of Uttarakhand at the rise of 3395 mtr. close to the Bhagirathi waterway. Fundamentally, there's 4 Chota Chardham in Uttarakhand named Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.
Gangotri sanctuary was worked by Amar Singh Thapa (Nepali General). Also, stream Bhagirathi begins from Gaumukh and named Ganga after get together with waterway Alaknanda at Devprayag. Hindu folklore stated, Goddess Ganga dropped here when Lord Shiva discharged the powerful stream from the jata (hair bolt) of his hair. 
The sanctuary is open for just a half year (May to November). Winter is excessively cool and brimming with snowfall.
